while it’s useful to have things bundled up like this, it’s always a 
Good Idea to know how to find, and use the tools individually, when you 
need to.
sometimes you might find yourself having to work on a system that does 
not have “everything” but has just the “basics”;  as an example 
this is why i always say “learn vi”, even if you prefer to use 
pico/ee/joe/blah, since it’s likely that “vi” will be bundled with 
your operating system, but the others won’t.  you can extend that 
analogy to anything you want :-)
