At the Women's Special Interest Group of the Internet Society and in coordination with Wikimedia Foundation, we are organizing the 1st Global Editathon “Girls in ICT” on April 28 on the occasion of the Girls in ICT Day (which is on April 26).
 

We want to create content written by women and about women on the Girls in ICT Day, mainly to make women in technology more visible and to inspired girls to pursue STEM careers. On that day, we will edit the biographies of women: founding, pioneers, entrepreneurs, developers, and leaders in technology from each region.

Desde el Grupo de Especial Interés de Mujeres de Internet Society y en coordinación con Wikimedia Foundation, estamos organizando la “1a.  Global Editathon “Girls in ICT” el 28 de abril con motivo del Día Internacional de las Niñas en las TIC (26 de abril). 

 

Queremos crear contenido escrito por mujeres y sobre mujeres por el Día Internacional de las Niñas en las TIC, principalmente para visibilizar a las mujeres en tecnología y para que las niñas se inspiren en ellas para seguir carreras STEM. En ese día, vamos a editar las biografías de mujeres fundadoras, pioneras, empresarias, desarrolladoras y líderes en tecnología de cada región.
