Thanks for ur efforts to get an alternative way to attend the webinar ,, and I think YES  ,, if Skype will work without needing a credit that's fine .. better than nothing ..

So, please can I know , Is that for this webinar only or all coming webinars Will be available through Skype also ?

I did inquire internally about alternative options for stakeholders from Sudan to join such webinars over Zoom account licensed by ICANN. My colleagues are exploring streaming Zoom rooms into YouTube, but this is a process that they are undergoing (both internally and with others), and would not be ready by the time this webinar takes place. And of course, with COVID-19 shutdowns and work-from-home policies, things are moving slower than usual.

As an alternative until this is resolved, a question to folks residing in Sudan; “Does Skype and dialing phone numbers from within Skype work?” If the answer is YES, if you look at the announcement for this webinar (see here >> https://go.icann.org/2VvGnCC [go.icann.org]), there are some dial-in numbers here >> https://www.adigo.com/icann [adigo.com]. You may want to dial the USA based numbers from within Skype as they usually come free of charge (no need for any Skype credit). Once prompted, enter ‘9001” to join the webinar in English, or enter ‘9006” to join the webinar in Arabic.

And I’ll be happy to share the slides offlist beforehand so that you can follow the discussions.

This is the best alternative I could find internally at this point in time.

And of course, after the webinar, we do offer a recording.
