[sdnog] Which “D” root name-server close to you?

السلام عليكم اس-دي-نوق

اتمني ان تكونوا بخير

اريد مساعدة بسيطة ،  عادةً ما أستخدم  مجسات رايب RIPE ATLAS للقيام بذلك ،
ولكن نظرًا لعدم وجود الكثير من المجسات في السودان ، لذلك اطلب  لمساعدتكم في
إجراء اختبار سريع. أحاول تحديد أقرب خادم  جذر "D" في كل شبكة


اذا لديك نظام تشغيل لينكس أو غيره  يمكنك فقط استخدام الأمر :

 dig +nsid soa . @d.root-servers.net | grep NSID


ارجو ارسال مخرجات الامر السابق بالرد علي هذا الايميل،  بالإضافة إلى مشغل
الشبكة الذي تتصل به (زين-كنار-سوداتل-ام تي ان او غيره) فسيكون ممتاز.

Hope you are doing well


Normally, i’d use RIPE ATLAS to do this, but since there are not a lot of
probes in sudan, i’m wondering if people would be willing to help me out
with a quick test.  I'm trying to determine which instance of the “D” root
name-servers you are closest to, topographically.


if you have access to a *nix type host, and can send me the output of

  dig +nsid soa . @d.root-servers.net | grep NSID


as well as the network operator (ISP) that you’re connected to , that would
be fantastic
